Does Mirumi understand words?

No. It has no language recognition. It reacts to sounds and voices in its own way by moving its face.

What is the recommended age?

Mirumi is designed for users aged 15 and above. It is not intended as a toy for young children, so please do not let small children use it unattended.

Is it waterproof?

No. Please avoid wet hands, rain and moisture. If it gets slightly damp, wipe it gently with a dry cloth and let it air dry.

How should I care for it?

If it gets dirty, gently wipe it with a well-wrung damp cloth, then groom the fur with a brush. It is not washable and the fur cover is not removable.

What is the power source?

A built-in rechargeable lithium-polymer battery. To charge, plug a USB-A to USB-C cable into the charging port on the back.

Is a power adapter included?

No. A USB-A to USB-C cable is included in the box. Please use a USB-A power adapter that meets the safety standards of your region (recommended: rated 5V 1A).

Can I take Mirumi on an airplane?

What is the operating temperature range?

0°C to 45°C (32°F to 113°F). Please avoid direct sunlight and hot, humid places such as the inside of a vehicle.

Yes. Connect it to a charger rated at 5V, with a current of 1A or higher.

How long does it take to charge, and how long does it run?

A full charge takes about 2 hours and gives about 8 hours of use.

Is it equipped with AI?

No.

What thickness of bag strap can it be attached to?

The recommended strap diameter is about 10–15 mm. Straps that are very thin or very thick may cause it to fall off or be damaged.

How to use

How do I attach it to my bag?

Open Mirumi's arms and place them around the strap so the strap passes through. Keep its left arm on top and its right arm on the bottom. If it tilts or tips sideways it may slip off more easily.

It moves a lot, even in quiet places or when not being petted.

Please try restarting it once. If the issue continues, contact us.

It doesn't react when petted.

Leave Mirumi alone for a few minutes before petting it again. If the issue continues, contact us.

It doesn't turn on when I press the power button.

Press and hold the button to power it on.

The instruction manual is missing.

It is inside the box, underneath Mirumi's base.

It makes a loud buzzing noise.

Turn the power off and leave Mirumi for a few hours before restarting it. If the issue continues, contact us.

It keeps falling off the bag.

Check the arm orientation when attaching it: the left arm should be on top and the right arm on the bottom. A tilted or sideways Mirumi may fall off more easily.

It makes a clicking or scratching noise from its neck.

This is a safety mechanism in action. Check whether Mirumi's movement is being blocked, for example by a bag strap or a tight space.

The head came off.

Align the tabs and slots, then snap the head back into place.

The arms won't open.

The arms are made of a flexible, elastic material. Gently pull them outward to open them. They may feel firm at first.

It only reacts on one side when I speak to it.

If it still reacts only on one side when spoken to from both sides in a quiet place, it may be defective. Please contact us.

It doesn't react as much as I expected.

Wait a few seconds between interactions. Try speaking to Mirumi or petting its head, then give it a moment to react.
